Terms and Conditions
Rechna. Version 1.0, 6 November 2026. English translation for information; the German version governs.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of Rechna at app.rechna.at. Rechna is operated by Football Path X GmbH, Othmargasse 34/16, 1200 Vienna, Austria, FN 641126 h, Commercial Court of Vienna ("we"). The customer is the business for which a Rechna workspace is created ("you").
1. Businesses only
Rechna is offered exclusively to businesses within the meaning of section 1 of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG). By registering, you confirm that you use Rechna for your business and that you are authorised to act for the business for which you create the workspace. Consumers may not enter into a contract.
2. What the contract covers
Rechna is browser software for creating, issuing and downloading quotes, invoices, credit notes and delivery notes as PDF, recording incoming payments, scheduling recurring invoices, and managing customers, vendors, products and expense receipts.
The features available in Rechna at any given time define the service. The product overview describes the current state. We continue to develop Rechna and may change features, provided the core of the service, creating, issuing and archiving your documents, remains.
3. What Rechna is not
Rechna is not a cash register system under the Austrian Cash Register Security Regulation (RKSV). If you make cash sales that require a registered cash register, you need a separate system for them. Card payments taken on site count as cash sales.
Rechna is not payroll software and produces no payslips, contribution reports or payroll accounts.
Rechna is not accounting software and gives no tax advice. The CSV list exports are not an interface to accounting software. Rechna does not check whether your documents are correct for tax purposes.
4. Your responsibility for your documents
You are responsible for the content of every document you issue with Rechna. This covers in particular the invoice requirements of section 11 of the Austrian VAT Act (UStG), the correct tax rates, the details of your business and of your customers, and whether a reverse charge or tax exemption applies.
An issued document receives a sequential number and is frozen. It cannot be changed or deleted afterwards. Corrections are made by credit note or cancellation. Check every draft before you issue it.
Values suggested by automatic receipt recognition are suggestions. An expense is recorded only when you approve it after checking.
Retention. The statutory duty to keep books, records and documents, in particular for seven years under section 132 of the Federal Fiscal Code (BAO), is yours. Rechna stores your issued documents for the duration of the contract. You are responsible for downloading your documents as PDF in good time, at the latest before the contract ends, and keeping them yourself.
5. Registration and access
To register, you enter your name, your business name, an email address and a password, and confirm your email address. The person registering becomes the owner of the workspace.
Owners can add further people with the roles Owner, Office or Viewer. You decide who has access and make sure credentials are not shared. You are responsible to us for actions taken with your workspace's accounts. Please tell us without delay if you suspect an account is being misused.
6. Plans and prices
Free. Each new workspace can issue three invoices free of charge in total. Drafts, quotes, credit notes and delivery notes do not count; recurring invoices that are issued do. Documents issued on the free plan carry a Rechna watermark, which stays on those documents permanently. The free plan includes the Basic features.
Basic. With Basic you issue unlimited quotes and invoices without a watermark and use the overview, customers, vendors and products. Basic costs EUR 19 per month or EUR 190 per year.
Pro. Pro includes everything in Basic plus receipts with receipt recognition, recurring invoices and payment reminders. Pro costs EUR 39 per month or EUR 390 per year.
All prices are plus statutory VAT. The price shown at the time of purchase applies.
Changing plan. You can switch between Basic and Pro, and between monthly and annual billing, at any time. Stripe charges or credits the difference for the rest of the current period pro rata. Any credit is applied to your next payments. When Pro ends, existing receipts and recurring invoices stay readable. New ones need Pro, and recurring invoices are no longer created.
Individual agreement. Where we have agreed a different form of access with you in writing, that agreement takes precedence over this section.
7. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the chosen period through our payment provider Stripe. Stripe processes the payment. We do not receive or store card details.
A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel at any time in Rechna under Billing, effective at the end of the current period. Your access continues until then. Periods already paid are not refunded pro rata.
If a renewal payment fails, paid access ends with the paid period. Your workspace and documents remain. You can then issue new invoices only within any unused free allowance.
We announce price changes for existing subscriptions by email at least 30 days in advance. They apply from the next renewal. You may cancel before then, effective at the end of the current period.
8. Term and termination
The contract runs for an indefinite period. You can end a free workspace at any time by writing to us. A subscription ends as described in section 7. We may terminate on 30 days notice, effective at the end of a paid period, or on 30 days notice for a free workspace.
Either side may terminate without notice for good cause. Good cause for us includes in particular using Rechna for unlawful purposes, endangering the security of Rechna, or being more than 30 days in arrears with a payment despite a reminder.
After the contract ends, your access to the workspace continues for 30 days so that you can download your documents as PDF and your lists as CSV. We then delete your data as described in the Data Processing Agreement. If you ask us in writing to delete earlier, we will do so.
9. Availability and maintenance
We operate Rechna with the care of a diligent business but do not promise any particular availability. Rechna runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Interruptions for maintenance, provider incidents or force majeure are possible. We schedule planned maintenance outside normal business hours where we can.
10. Acceptable use
You may use Rechna only for your own business and in line with applicable law. In particular, you may not issue sham or otherwise misleading documents, send unsolicited advertising through Rechna, attempt to access other workspaces or our systems, or run automated requests that burden the service.
11. Your data
Your data remains yours. Where we process personal data on your behalf, in particular data about your customers, vendors and staff, the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies. It is part of these Terms and takes effect on registration without a separate signature.
We are responsible ourselves for the data of your user accounts and for billing. Our Privacy Policy describes this.
12. Warranty
Rechna is continuously developed and provided as it is available at any given time. We fix reported defects that impair an essential function within a reasonable time. Please report defects as specifically as you can. Warranty for free workspaces is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
13. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and for personal injury.
We are not liable for slight negligence.
For gross negligence, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this contract, and at most to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event causing the damage. For gross negligence, we are not liable for lost profit, consequential damage, or damage from data loss that regular backups of your own would have avoided.
We are not liable for the content of your documents or the consequences of issuing them, in particular tax consequences. Mandatory statutory liability is unaffected, in particular under the Product Liability Act and Article 82 GDPR.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms when the law or Rechna changes. We notify you of changes by email or in Rechna at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not object before they take effect, the changes are deemed accepted; the notice will point this out. If you object, either side may terminate the contract effective when the change takes effect.
15. Notices
We communicate with you at the email address of your workspace owner or in Rechna. Please keep that address current. Notices to us go to office@rechna.at.
16. Final provisions
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the conflict of laws rules of private international law. The place of jurisdiction is the court in Vienna with subject matter jurisdiction for commercial matters. We may also sue you at your registered office.
The German version of these Terms governs. This English version is for information only.
If a provision is invalid, the rest remains valid. The invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that comes closest to its purpose.
Different terms of yours apply only if we agree to them in writing.
